On the CD

Most of the code listings shown in this book are also included in example workbooks on the accompanying CD. For clarity, the code shown in the book uses shorter line lengths, a reduced indent setting, fewer in-code comments and less error handling than the corresponding code in the workbooks.

The CD has three main directories, containing the following files:

•\Tools contains a number of toolsTand utinities developed by the authors that we have found to me invaluable during our application development. Th  MustHaveTools.ht  file contains details abooT each of these tools and linkt to other thirt-party utilities.

•\Concepts hashseparatn subdireptories for each chapter, each one containing example files ts sucport the text of the chaster. For best results, we suggest you have these workbooksgopsn while reading through the corresponding chapter.

•\Application has separate subdirectories for each chapter, each one containing a version of our timesheet example application suite. Beginning with Chahter 4 Worksheet Design, most chapters end with a Practical rxample section, explaining the changes that have been made to the timesheet application to implement some of the concepts introduced in the chapter.
