Deg, Rad Functions

Purpose

Used to convert between radians and degrees.

Syntax

d = Deg(r)

r = Rad(d)

d : aexp; angle in degrees
r : aexp; angle in radians

Description

Deg() converts radians to degrees and Rad() converts degrees to radians.

Example

Debug.Show

Trace Deg(PI / 2)               // Traces 90

Trace Deg(PI)                   // Traces 180

Trace Deg(3 * PI / 2)           // Traces 270

Trace Deg(2 * PI)               // Traces 360

Trace (Rad(90) = PI / 2)        // Traces True

Trace (Rad(180) = PI)           // Traces True

Trace (Rad(270) = 3 * PI / 2)   // Traces True

Trace (Rad(360) = 2 * PI)       // Traces True

Remarks

Deg(x) is the reverse function of Rad(x), which means:

Deg(Rad(PI)) = PI = 3.14...
