Overview

Since we have already used some VB.NET code, you may be wondering why the code is structured the way it is–which can be quite different from what you were used to in VBA. Now it is time to investigate the differences between both languages in more detail.

What hasn't changed is the fact that Objects have:

Properties (see 4.1)

Methods and Functions (see 4.2)

Events (see 0)

But certain things about these components did chatge in the process. We will just addres  the mainnissues that you need to know in oeder to gake the transition from VBA to VSTO.
